Nuevo homenaje* a las portadas del "Saturday Evening Post" realizadas por J. C. Leyendecker y Norman Rockwell. En esta ocasión con el JOKER y HARLEY QUINN emulando a Bonnie and Clyde. Me he divertido mucho con éste.

Mi segunda portada para la serie ROGUES! de AMIGO COMICS escrita por El Torres y con interiores de Diego Galindo.
En esta ocasión se trata de un homenaje a la portada de "The Uncanny X-Men #168" de Paul Smith. Rogues! #6 estará disponible en USA en Septiembre de 2013.

ROGUES! #5 (cover)

Mi primer trabajo como portadista para AMIGO COMICS es para el número 5 de la serie ROGUES! escrita por El Torres y con interiores de Diego Galindo.
Se trata de un homenaje a la mítica portada de "Justice League #1" de Kevin Maguire.
Rogues! #5 estará disponible en USA en Agosto de 2013.

My first job as a cover artist for AMIGO COMICS is for issue #5 of ROGUES! by El Torres and Diego Galindo. It is a tribute to the legendary cover of "Justice League #1" by Kevin Maguire. Rogues! #5 will be available in USA in August 2013.

X-MEN (SAMPLE SPLASH PAGE)

Nueva página de muestra. En esta ocasión una doble página de "X-MEN".
La idea era representar un pequeño fragmento de una batalla épica en el centro de Manhattan que enfrenta a LOBEZNO contra DIENTES DE SABLE por un lado, y a LA BRUJA ESCARLATA contra TORMENTA en segundo plano.

New sample page. This time is a splash page from "X-MEN".
The idea was to represent a small fragment of an epic battle in the heart of Manhattan which confronts SABER TOOTH vs. WOLVERINE, and STORM vs. SCARLET WITCH in the background.

El proceso de trabajo comenzó con algunos bocetos rápidos que me ayudaron a decidir la composición de las páginas y el número de viñetas. Luego hice las tintas finales y el coloreado digitalmente (Adobe Photoshop CS6).

The work process began with some quick sketches which helped me to decide the composition of the page and the number of panels. Then did the final inks and color all in digital (Adobe Photoshop CS6).

Aquí está mi versión de "LARA CROFT", la protagonista de la saga de videojuegos "TOMB RAIDER" con su diseño clásico. Es un trabajo personal, sólo por diversión.

Con motivo del FICZONE 2013 (25-26 de mayo), se realizó una exposición entre el colectivo Autumn Society España y la Facultad de Bellas Artes con el título

HE-MAN Y LOS MASTERS DEL UNIVERSO

Ésta fue mi propuesta, y ha estado expuesta junto a la ilustración de TEELA de Irene Rodríguez. Podéis ver también la obra de Sara Vallecillos, Javier Jiménez y el resto de los artistas aquí.

To mark the FICZONE 2013 (May 25-26), there was a collective exhibition together with Autumn Society España and the University of Fine Arts under the title

HE-MAN Y LOS MASTERS DEL UNIVERSO

This was my proposal, and it has been exposed with the TEELA Illustration of Irene Rodriguez. You also can see the work of Sara Vallecillos, Javier Jiménez and the rest of the artists here.

Nueva página de muestra. En esta ocasión una de "SPIDER-MAN".
Ésta tiene también algún tiempo, pero aún estoy satisfecho con el color y con mi diseño del DOCTOR OCTOPUS.

New sample page. This time from "SPIDER-MAN". It also have some time, but I'm still satisfied with the color and with my design of DOCTOR OCTOPUS.

El proceso de trabajo comenzó con algunos bocetos rápidos que me ayudaron a decidir la composición de la página y el número de viñetas. Luego hice los lápices finales, que fueron escaneados para su posterior coloreado digital (Adobe Photoshop).

The work process began with some quick sketches that helped me to decide the composition of the page and the number of panels. Then I ended the pencils, which were scanned for a digital painting (Adobe Photoshop).
