BANE 1993

La décima pieza* de mi serie "Saturday Evening Post"! BANE. Basándome en su historia original, he optado por darle un aspecto de luchador mexicano. Ha sido muy divertido añadir tantos detalles y guiños.

The tenth piece* of my "Saturday Evening Post" series! BANE. Basing on his original comic story, I decided to give him the look of a Mexican wrestler. It has been really funny to add as many details and easter eggs into this painting.

El sexto homenaje* a las portadas del "Saturday Evening Post". En esta ocasión, los años 80 con CATWOMAN. Los que me conocen saben que tengo debilidad por este personaje desde siempre.

The sixth tribute* to the covers of the "Saturday Evening Post".  This time in the 80s with CATWOMAN. Those who know me, knows that I always loved this character especially.

BARONESS

Un trabajo personal. Tenía muchas ganas de dibujar a la BARONESA, la villana de GI-JOE, y he aprovechado la ocasión para meter al COMANDANTE COBRA y a SNAKE EYES en el fondo. Estoy contento con esta ilustración.

A personal work. I really wanted to draw the BARONESS, the villain from GI-JOE  and I have taken the opportunity to put the COBRA COMMANDER and SNAKE EYES in the background. I'm happy with this illustration.

Nuevo homenaje* a las portadas del "Saturday Evening Post" realizadas por J. C. Leyendecker y Norman Rockwell. En esta ocasión con el JOKER y HARLEY QUINN emulando a Bonnie and Clyde. Me he divertido mucho con éste.

New tribute* to the covers of the "Saturday Evening Post" by J. C. Leyendecker and Norman Rockwell. This time with the JOKER and HARLEY QUINN imitating to Bonnie and Clyde. I had fun drawing this.

X-MEN (SAMPLE SPLASH PAGE)

Nueva página de muestra. En esta ocasión una doble página de "X-MEN".
La idea era representar un pequeño fragmento de una batalla épica en el centro de Manhattan que enfrenta a LOBEZNO contra DIENTES DE SABLE por un lado, y a LA BRUJA ESCARLATA contra TORMENTA en segundo plano.

New sample page. This time is a splash page from "X-MEN".
The idea was to represent a small fragment of an epic battle in the heart of Manhattan which confronts SABER TOOTH vs. WOLVERINE, and STORM vs. SCARLET WITCH in the background.

El proceso de trabajo comenzó con algunos bocetos rápidos que me ayudaron a decidir la composición de las páginas y el número de viñetas. Luego hice las tintas finales y el coloreado digitalmente (Adobe Photoshop CS6).

The work process began with some quick sketches which helped me to decide the composition of the page and the number of panels. Then did the final inks and color all in digital (Adobe Photoshop CS6).
